"Villa Casanova is a delightful small family run B and B situated close to the shops, restaurants and vaporetta stop, making it the ideal place to stay. The rooms are spotless and very quaint on the top floor. The breakfast choice is superb with all tastes catered for, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cold meats and hot croissants. One of my favourite meals is Caprese and although I’ve never had it for breakfast before I thoroughly enjoyed having it every morning. My friend and I enjoyed our...

"This hotel is in the lovely village of Malamocco in a beautiful building which is hundreds of years old. However, the bathrooms seriously needed renovation. I tried to explain this to the mana"

"The room smelled like raw sewage. It was disgusting. Maybe because it's Venice, IDK, but yuk!"

"Out of the two weeks we spent in Italy, this was the most expensive and disappointing room we had. The room was right beside the check-in desk and seemed like it was a converted storage space. In the bathroom there was a big ball of hair on the floor. And mold on the ceiling in the bedroom area. The staff cleaned all of this up while we went off for the day. When we turned in for the night, I noticed something on the ceiling above the bed. After some research, I came to find out It was a wood...

"The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the waterbus piers. Waterbus is the way to get around in Venice. If you come by bus or taxi from the airport, you don’t need to carry your luggage over the countless bridges in Venice. The hotel is right there when you get out of the bus or taxi. Another advantage of the hotel is that right around the corner, there is a good breakfast bar. Good inexpensive food. The only thing you need to be aware is that you may need to carry your luggage on...

"Staff was wonderful, especially "Harry"(sorry if we got the name/spelling wrong). Wonderful breakfast!! Only con was shower cleanliness around the bottom door/glass. I would definitely stay again."

"Great"

"The room feels clean, bed sheets feel fresh. Air conditioning works well. Location is close to the ferry terminal coming from airport and heading to Burano island. The checking reception is in a separate building close by, not too inconvenient. Communication with the hotel ahead of the trip is easy."

"Very nice hotel in a convenient area."

"Our favourite place out of the entire two weeks we were travelling around Italy! Excellent room and staff service was great, (thank you Massimo), very spacious and everything was new! Felt really safe around the area but the location might add an extra 10 min walk from the main Venice attractions compared to if you were to stay closer to the San Marco area. 10/10 would recommend."
