"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...

"I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that."

"We had a handicap room and the beds were platform low beds, which didn't make much sense for an older person to get out of bed. All the employees were nice but the place needs a refresh and carpet removed in the pet rooms."

"We booked this room due to a power outage at home and were mainly interested in the full-sized refrigerator so we could prevent the loss of all the food in our home refrigerator. We also needed a place to shower and use the bathroom, since we could not do that at home with no power to the well pump. The refrigerator was a welcome benefit, but the water service was out for several hours on our second day due to maintenance, which eliminated one of the two reasons for being there. The room...

"This hotel should be removed from the Expedia website. The facilities are extremely dirty, mold is located on the ceilings inside the room and the bathrooms. It appears to be more so a venue that facilitates the homeless that are in need of a room for a short time. I definitely will not be rebooking with this hotel at all."

"The hotel is pretty old. One day during the breakfast my son requested the milk but the receptionist told him it was finished despite breakfast time was not. Hotel’s amenities description includes the pool but when we asked about it they said that there was no pool at all. We got very disappointed because our hotel choice was based on the inclusion of the pool."

"I paid for the room in full and they still ask for a $100 deposit and it been days and we still haven’t gotten a refund "

"The girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful from the beginning to end. The room was very clean and spacious with everything you need for a short to long term stay. We loved the court yard, the afternoon snack time and the morning breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit up that way."
