"I requested a quiet room but was given a street facing room that was so noisy. I know it's NYC and you can expect some street noise, but this was not a normal level. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds, but the sound from the street really put me off and would make me think twice before booking again. "

The location is a major highlight—about a 5-minute walk to the train and an easy 15-minute walk to both SoHo and the West Village, which made getting around really convenient. The room felt spacious by New York standards, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with soft, cushy white pillows. The shower was solid—clean with medium water pressure, nothing luxurious but definitely did the job well. A couple of downsides: I asked for bathrobes and they...

"Every person on the staff was approachable, nice, and super helpful. The king bed was very comfy. The room was very clean and quiet though the cars honking outside were loud on Friday night into the early hours (but c'mon, you're in NYC). Much less so Saturday and Sunday. There's also a night club on the weekends by we couldn't hear a thing on the eight floor. The 24 hour diner downstairs was extremely convenient, tasty, and gave off the vibe of a bygone era in a good way."

"Nice modern hotel with clean modern rooms and friendly staff. Black-out curtains were very effective and could sleep any time of day if needed. Very quiet neighborhood at night and bed was comfortable. Right across from a beautiful park. In China town and 2 blocks to Little Italy. 5 to 10 min walk to subway. Moderate walk to financial district or Brooklyn Bridge. Staff gave a great dim sum recommendation. Great location, very nice place, would definitely stay here again!"
