However, there were 2 major issues which were not in keeping with a 5* at this price point: 1) there is a huge unattached manhole on the road in front of the hotel which makes a racket every time a car drives over it and keeps you up at night through the night; 2) a horrible drain stench from the toilet / bidet in the rooms. "Located right on the Main square, Piazza Tasso, the hotel is convenient to all points of Sorrento. The pictures of the rooms on line are a true depiction of where you are staying. Although there are floor to ceiling windows, they are well insulated so when they are closed there is no noise heard from the square. Simone and her staff are pleasant and accommodating.
