"Nice stay, strategically positioned between Pisa and Lucca. Need a car to reach the train station. Our stay was in Autumn and we didn't try the swimming pool"

"A very nice experience in a lovely town. The hostess was very accomadating. She let us arrive earlier than expected and was very informative for parking. Despite it was a Saturday and a holiday it was very quiet for a good nights sleep. Coffee at breakast was some of the best around."

"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day.
There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening. If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"Check in was great we were assigned a room early which I was not expecting so a real plus. The lovley reception lady arranged for a takeaway breakfast pack for me and my son and a taxi to the airport. Rooms were clean and great for what we needed. Great location for the tower price for the night was great "
"This is an amazing hotel with the Leaning Tower of Pisa literally outside the front door. The rooms were lovely and unusually but tastefully decorated with all the usual amenities and smelled beautiful. We booked a rear room with views of the courtyard and rooftops we were only there for one night on our way home from Florence so didn’t really want to pay extra for the tower view when it was outside the front door. We were able to wander around in the evening and experience the tower and cathedral without the crowds it was great. There’s a taxi stand within view of the hotel costing approximately €15 to the train station and airport it was so convenient for us. The staff were helpful and after checkout kept our bags so we could continue to enjoy the sites before our flight later in the day. You get a key card that opens the front door and your room so convenient. There didn’t appear to be any other hotels on this row it was a great find! 😀"
"The Villa Tower Inn is an incredible Italian experience. It is a beautiful building with authentic decor. My room was on the first floor; which I recommend. The room was large, with wood windows that opened to a courtyard. I was memorized by the chandelier and ceiling in my suite. The bath is modernized, roomy and shower ran hot water throughout my showers. The best part is and will be the staff. Very helpful, friendly and can make a mean espresso! The location is around the corner from the Pisa tower and restaurants. It’s a great choice! "
"Finishing of the room is poor. Service was good and attentive. Knowledgable of the area. Facilities basic. Provision of a kettle would have been good. Shower is very small. I'm petite but found it confining and uncomfortable. Great location.
