"The room was nothing as described in the Expedia listing. The pictures are not of the room we were given. Our room was unclean, paint was pealing from the ceiling, there were old paper towels lining the silverware drawer. The carpet in the bedrooms was dirty. The mirror in the bathroom was pealing. "We normally rent a house when we come to the beach but this was a short trip with just me and my sons. This hotel is absolutely perfect! They think of everything and the staff is so kind. Clean and the best location to the beach and walkable for breakfast lunch and dinner!"

The reason for 3 stars is I was sold a “partial ocean view room” and I got a frosted glass slider, bolted shut, overlooking the buildings HVAC systems. "Great location! 10 min from everything!"

"This little hotel was unexpected and just what I needed. I knew from the photographs that it was an older property but I was booking last minute so I didn’t have a lot of choices. It isn’t fancy but has an adorable classic vibe that totally makes up for that. It is very clean and you can’t beat the location. I felt safe staying alone with my 2 kids. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming, I would definitely stay here again."

The hotel's grounds, rooms, and lobby were modern decor with spacious seating and viewing areas. "Got there a little earlier than expected, so I decided to give them a call and ask if a room was available. Worker name Pam, was very rude and had an awful attitude. We were able to get a room, but once we got there the attitude was worse with the huffing and puffing. She might’ve rough morning but she was VERY nasty & I didn’t appreciate that at all. Definitely not going back at all!"

"The waterpark (slides, pool, kiddie pool) area was wonderful! Very family friendly. Staff was kind. We loved the pier as well. Had a flatbread from the restaurant that was great. The only thing we noticed was the walls were thin. We could easily hear our neighbors who were not loud people. Definitely a disappointment considering how expensive it is to stay here. But overall we loved it."
