"Check in was quick and easy. Front desk staff were pleasant. The BeeKind products (shower gel, shampoo, body cream) in the room were very nice. While the rooms appear to have been recently renovated, the elevator and hallways were not. My suite was large and quite comfortable, however, it had an unpleasant, stale odour every time I entered and I'm not sure if it was due to new carpeting/renovations, towels that are stored in an unrenovated storage room down the hall, or something else. An odd thing about the room was the sink area that was outside the bathroom. There was limited counter space to put toiletries on since an unattractive large, raised sink took up most of the space. Not sure what the designer of this space was thinking. My arms, hands, elbows were always hitting the sink while trying to use it. Plus, even though it had ridiculously high basin, water was always splashing out all over the counter. Both the food and service at Floyd's Diner was awful so I walked down to the Days Inns for breakfast, where both were much more pleasant. Heckler's pub food was tasty, which I brought back to the room, since noisy bars filled with 30 years old are not my thing. It was lovely to walk around the neighbourhood, off the busy road, to see the heritage homes and their beautiful gardens. It was unfortunate access to the nearby Galloping Goose Trail was closed for some kind of construction. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, but the food not so much."

"Loved our 5 night stay. Room was always cleaned by friendly staff. Front desk check in was very efficient. Amazing free coffee in the lobby whenever you want it.We stayed ground floor in back of hotel nice and quiet. The only complaint was tight parking on a slope close to the room.How ever there are more spots up further up in upper parking lot. Would definitely recommend staying here."
