The first room we got was right by the elevators, smelled like chlorine, and had an indoor-facing window with absolutely no privacy. When I asked to switch, the manager immediately shut me down and said they were fully booked. He didn't even try to see what he could do until I suggested switching us with someone who hadn't checked in yet. "Chose this for the proximity to the airport, though we drove in from the Central Valley. Safe location. Short drive to the Bay Bridge to get to the city, short drives to the ferry stops, too.
