"Visited for a long weekend with my S.O. in February 2026. This place was very nice. Our room had a fireplace and nice seating in front of the TV. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful served up hot in the room. B&B was right across the street from the ocean and a block away from a very nice restaurant which we dined at twice. It is walking distance to all downtown amenities and additional restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend and stay again."

"The room was clean. The breakfast was really great, but the front of the property needed some work. it may not be your fault maybe Caltrans, but it was bumpy and potholes."

"If you enjoy a relaxing atmosphere this a great place to stay. The rooms are good size and have gas fireplaces. It's located a short distance from numerous restaurants and has a number of areas for walking up on the bluff above the ocean. The staff at this boutique B&B are so nice it makes you want to come back. We've stayed at the Seal Cove Inn numerous times and any time we travel to Half Moon Bay this is our destination. We highly recommend this establishment."

"The housekeeping staff are super kind, but they are the only staff you'll see if you happen to be there when they are. Owners did not respond to messages when I inquired about alternates for micro fiber sheets (hot and scratchy for me). Neighboring rooms were loud during sleeping hours (quiet time guidelines would be helpful). Overall, great house and location. Loved being in this lovely town and walking to great shopping and eats. Super friendly locals too! "

"Lovely breakfast and bed near the Main Street, restaurants and shops. I didn’t really interact with staff in-person so I did miss the face to face human connection. I love the Inn and thought and the Victorian style. I recommend it. "

"Pros: Very clean, super quite, friedly staff, great location! Cons: Shower was low flow and didn't get real hot. Bathroom lock was broken and kept locking us out but easy to fix using a quarter to turn the lock from the outside"

"Pretty decent place. I think that perhaps the bed mix up may have been on Expedia? We ordered a king bed room but got two queen beds? The lady at the desk was incredibly unhelpful with this. Said that it was because it was booked thru a third party app she couldn’t help us. Okay. BUTTTTT. Later I asked for a first aid kit I just needed one bandaid, she said they didn’t have one (which is illegal) … she didn’t give an eff about helping me. I went and got my own. "Virtually no ocean view except from the front lobby, and that was obstructed. Sits right on a very busy highway. Very limited parking in the front with difficult in/out access. Staff communication, limited and uninformed. Lots of stairs to navigate even getting in the lobby and all rooms. Nearby properties are less than desirable environment. Spacious, clean room, but amenities more of a motel category. A number of lightbulbs out in the room, bed frame broken and pops loudly, and very large...
