"The rooms and lobby were clean and relatively well-maintained. We didn't have the opportunity to use the pool or gym, but we enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the staff did a nice job keeping everything clean and stocked. The hotel was a very short drive from the main road, which has plenty of of restaurants and retail areas. I would stay here again the next time I'm in the area."

"There were a lot a places paint was chipping. The shower was slippery with some mat put in it and then you could feel the give/break in the bottom of the shower when you stepped on it. The office chair was broken and there were stains on the sofa and chair. There was no remote to the TV in the bedroom part of the suite. Staff was very friendly. It was nice enough for just someplace to sleep over night for a funeral. Not many amenities. Beds were comfortable. Easy ground access but no elevator. ...

"Literally right off the exit, the Wingate was surprisingly quiet. I was greeted nicely and carts were by the door to bring luggage upstairs. The desk clerk was helpful in sharing directions and breakfast was very good. It was an overall great stay and if the pool heater is repaired next time I travel through, I'll stay again."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed by how a lost item situation was handled. I accidentally left my toiletry bag hanging on the back of the bathroom door when I checked out. Realizing my mistake, I called the hotel approximately four hours later, but I was told that nothing had been found in the room. I am certain the bag was left there, which leaves me concerned about the hotel's lost-and-found procedures and room inspection process. While mistakes happen, I expect a more...

"Always consistent good customer service. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Can always count on a safe, comfortable stay."

"Parking was limited. There was no drop off/pull up to front door. We are seniors,and there was no elevator, but front desk was able to get us a room on the 1st floor. We changed out from a King to 2 doubles. That was fine."

"The room had an interesting smell. Maybe the ventilation is not very good because it rains a lot in this part of the country, I’m not sure. The staff is definitely not the friendliest, some are better than others. Breakfast is very good. The gym is OK glad they have a peloton now but a lot of times that Wi-Fi wouldn’t work and I couldn’t log onto classes so I just had to do a solo ride. "This is a recently reconstructed hotel. It feels new. There is a great barbcue joint next door. This was the nicest hotel that we stayed in during our recent trip."

"The hotel is undergoing renovation. Though it is nicely done, if you have sensitivity to new carpet smell or new paint, then I would not recommend it. Everything is new including furniture, bedding, pillows. Check out is noon but housekeeping came around at 9 AM knocking on doors."
