"The view... it's magnificent! Walk out the door of your room and be confronted with the pure beauty of Tuscany. I don't think we've ever spent so much time just relaxing with a drink and a snack, overlooking the countryside. We saw beautiful sunsets and also a thunderstorm. Wish we had booked more nights. "The property is very nice . My room was ok , nice view , spacious bathroom except the shower . The lights switchers are confusing but understandable because is an old European style . Breakfast is very good . A lot choices and was included in the price . Staff is great always try to help you . Location is good , just 600 mts from San Gimignano main entrance . You don’t need a car to go close to inside the walls . Parking is difficult in the area but you will find a spot away from the hotel .!...

"The communication with the host was a bit confusing as I was told that a “colleague” would be there but, actually, it was the host’s mother. Altogether the family was very nice and helpful (could leave my luggage at early arrival and go explore). The room was cute with a comfy bed, maybe a little overstuffed with mismatched old furniture. Everything was sparkling clean. A fridge and a kettle were provided. Only upon arrival I realised that my room did not have an ensuite but a shared bathroom....

"Stayed in the room with bunk beds (Torre Ardinghelli)- Had the squeakiest door ever. Also the bathroom door got stuck on the floor every time it opened and shut. The bunk beds were this squeaky metal thing that probably should only be used by under 10 year olds. Think creaky old camp bunks. Out of soap/shampoo in the shower when we checked in and it took about 25 min to find more. Charge for water (of course) and seemingly no where to fill water bottles in a free way. Strange 2nd level...

"Entramos por error en la zona ZTL porque leímos que era posible aparcar frente al hotel a descargar las maletas pero no es posible. Ellos pueden pasar una nota de tu matrícula por el sistema automático pero no garantizan evitar la multa. El chico fue muy directo. No se puede acceder, está prohibido y ellos no se hacen responsables si la multa te llega"
