"Great place and happen to be there during the 100th anniversary of Pontiac, which is cool. I have to say their breakfast, even though it was a standard buffet, was super high-quality. I usually skip the breakfast buffet, but this place was worth it. Not only that there’s a great Mexican restaurant walking distance from it."

"The room was ok, bedrooms were nice. Kitchen cabinets were sticky and could use a facelift. The entire building could use a facelift, manual thermostats from the 90's by the looks of it. The sofa bed was broken, which was unfortunate as we actually needed it but made do (though for the price, we really shouldn't be making due with dirty cabinets and broken beds). Staff is very nice. Breakfast was decent, good selection. Don't stay here on a Saturday night though as there is drag racing until...

"The breakfast and room were ok. Why no quarters at the desk for laundry? Our beef was with the person at the desk who basically ignored us when we told him at 10:30 at night that our bathroom was filled with cigarette smoke. He walked the hall but would not knock on doors. I assume they should know who we share the ventilation system with? Any concern for fire? Anyway, we had to move all our stuff for a 9-night stay at 10:30 at night to a new room (our elderly dog has COPD) without any help...

"Out of five stars, I'd say this is a two-star motel. But then, the price reflected the rating. I didn't want to pay a lot. The main elevator was broken so guests had to use the freight elevator. One of the beds in the room had a broken corner, the doors on the closet were broken, and the latch on the bathroom door was broken. The bathroom was fine, but the tub shower drained very slowly. "Pool was closed during our stay which was disappointing. Room was a good size and clean. However staff at front desk were a rude, barely acknowledging us. When checking in the girl had a full take out meal and was actively eating as we at the front desk. I found that a bit in appropriate for a hospitality worker. Not a great first impression."
