"Rooms were not ready at check-in time. Lobby bathroom was gross with urine and feces. Our room had a strange odor. Understaffed restaurant at the resort. The cantina at the beach was unexpectedly closed. The main gate to the beach was closed causing a long drive to get lunch for our hungry children.
The staff was friendly and the food was good when we finally got sat in the mostly empty dining room. The beds were comfortable. The scenery was nice. "

"The staff were very nice and professional. No problems there.
The hotel as a whole is a little run down. Exercise room leaves A LOT to be desired. Tread mill didn’t work and the elliptical trainer is about to fall apart — it’s in terrible shape.
The room was adequate. Bathroom is very dark, hard to put makeup on. And no exhaust fan. The AC worked great. Love a cool room to sleep in. Bed was comfortable."

"The hotel was nice the problem is they didn’t let us know the pool wasn’t open until we got there and that was our reason for getting that hotel… I believe we should have gotten a discount "

"Shower doors were 1960 aluminum, the shower knob was loose and would not stay in the hot zone. The toilet was very low. Pillows were horrible and old. Definitely didn’t live up to the Sonesta name."
