First they were having issues with the elevators which I understand probably was just bad luck, that being said it was frustrating waiting up to 10 minutes each way to get outside unfortunately we were on the 8th floor so stairs with all our luggage wasn’t really an opiton. Secondly it looked as though the flooring in the room was recently changes which was nice but in the bathroom and shower remnants of old...

"Loved the suite, with balcony! Very clean. Staff very helpful. Enjoyed the 18th floor restaurant for breakfast buffet, both days. The hot tub and pool, which we used, were also nice and clean!"

"Good location, safe and walkable. Our room had non functioning hair dryer and barely functioning phone. It took 4 requests and 24 hours to have hair dryer replaced (which seems ridiculous !) and phone never addressed. I wish they provided breakfast or discount at nearby restaurant. Fruit bowl and coffee/tea isn’t good enough."

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. The view of the marina from our balcony was appreciated. Parking structure opposite the hotel is gated and secure, but we found out there is an additional parking fee charged to the guests for using it. There were no water bottles in our room! You can order some from room service at four times the cost or bring your own."

"Check-in staff was very welcoming and the stay included a gift of chocolates and one of their brews. Complimentary parking and easy access to walking trails is a huge plus. Room is located in a heritage house. Our room was on the main floor and sound does travel from hallways and upper floors, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The bed was quite comfortable and room was clean. It would have been nice to have an electrical outlet in the bathroom, or a mirror in the main room near an outlet. A...

Old and musty scent throughout the building. Not enough staff on the check-in/check-out desk and that's a huge problem now during the tourist season. And DO NOT accept a room next to the parking lot. "Excellent hotel in a convenient location in Downtown Victoria. The staff was very helpful during check-in and provided tons of info about nearby things to do. However, the room walls and door are thin, so you can easily hear people walking around and talking in the hallway. Room was cleaned daily just enough to be good."
