"The staff were so friendly. My mom and I were on a road trip with two toddlers and a 6 year old. The lady at the front desk dropped off a pack and play with a cute little fitted sheet for us to use even though I had packed our own it was so thoughtful. "During our 7 night stay, we had to change rooms 2 times. Our first room flooded during an overnight rainfall. Our second room had lots of mildew on the ceiling over the bed. Our third did not have any problems. The hotel staff was very accommodating throughout our stay. Our housekeeper, Martha, was wonderful!"

We stayed here the night before a World Cup match, paying $250/night, and it was by far the worst hotel experience of my life.
The room itself was in terrible condition: a broken chair, visible mold/mildew in the shower, and towels that were stained and full of holes.

"I had a terrible experience staying at the Red Lion in Kansas City. The hotel was dirty from the moment I walked in. The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room was not clean at all. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival, which made the stay very uncomfortable.
The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and nothing like I expected. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but this property failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here...
