My recent stay was disappointing and did not meet the expectations I had, especially given the premium price paid for an oceanfront room.
Upon arrival, I found the front desk staff to be neither warm nor welcoming. While I observed one staff member assisting another guest with check-in and providing discount coupons, the person helping me did not extend the same courtesy. Additionally, I was not given any information about WiFi access, which is typically standard for any guest.
The in-room amenities were also lacking. There was no cup available, and the water jar provided was completely empty. These small details contribute significantly to the overall guest experience and were unfortunately overlooked.
I was assigned a room on the ground floor. Despite having paid a substantial amount for an “oceanfront” view, the location was far from ideal. The room opened onto a paseo area where groups of people gathered and socialized late into the night, often talking and singing loudly. The noise significantly impacted my ability to relax or sleep peacefully.
Overall, the experience did not align with the value I expected from the price paid. The view and amenities did not justify the cost, and the atmosphere was not conducive to a restful stay.
