" Beautiful riad with bright patio and rooftop. Very quiet. The room is comfortable but I have experienced better pillows elsewhere. Swimming pools are beautiful but more for ambiance than swimming. The hotel is in the Medina, you have to go through the soukh to access it. They offer filtered water every day, which was appreciated. "A unique place to stay. An oasis of calm. The staff were fabulous and were always around to make our stay special. The restaurant is also excellent, serving Local cuisine in the middle of the Riad. We stayed in 2 different suites Harem and Sultan both on the ground floor both excellent. There is so many different terraces with sunbeds you will always find a quiet place."

"We had a great stay at Riad Karmela and we were impressed how warm and helpful the staff are. Mohamed and Amine were especially helpful to us with arranging transportation and making sure we get to our destinations on time and safely. The breakfast was amazing and there were lots of options with fresh fruits and vegetables. Our room was spacious and clean. We highly recommend this hotel and good location in the medina. "

"This was a short stop for us and we did not get to enjoy the spa or breakfast. The room was clean with a pleasant patio to relax. WiFi did not work in our room but we could access it on the patio. Most of these hotels are down winding ally streets that are impossible to find without Google Maps and even with maps it’s difficult. The hotel staff are very kind and will often meet you in the market to direct you to the location. "
