"We were very happy with our brief stay at Le Village Cancalais. Our apartment was clean and comfortable. Best of all, the owner, Pierre, was welcoming and responsive. We took the breakfast option (bread and pastries) and it was delicious."

"Excellent hotel! It is centrally located in Saint-Malo’s Ild Town. Importantly, it has excellent climate control and it even has a pool, which is helpful for families. I have stayed at many hotels in France, and this is the best. The rooms are small, but they are comfortable, well appointed, and clean. W"

"A very lovely hotel in the very heart of the walled city on the edge of one of the main squares; a hub for eating, drinking and people watching. The rooms vary a little and we fortuitously ended up with a room on a corner of the square and building, which had two balconies!! Beautiful. We ate good food in the their main restaurant on the square. Very peaceful and engaging. The breakfast was a little disappointing; over priced for the range offered, but overall it was an excellent place to stay. St.Malo Is a delightful place to wander and ‘soak up’."
