"Our stay at Hotel Santa Gilla was okay overall. The room was clean, but the furniture was quite dated and some of it was starting to show its age. The bathroom was the biggest issue for us—the shower was extremely small, and the doors did not seal properly, which resulted in water getting onto the bathroom floor.
The listing was also a little misleading. The beach shown in the photos is not actually on the hotel property; it is a short drive away. Breakfast was decent, but nothing particularly...

"The area was unkept. Empty bottles and glasses outside. No doors opened at 3 pm when we circulated the entire property. We thought the place had gone bankrupt. Eventually we pounded on the door and an elderly man came to the front door. He could not understand our frustration of not being able to enter. He came outside, next he got locked outside - malfunctioning front doors. He circled the outside of the building and came back to re-open the front door. The hotel is old, run down, homeless...
