"It is an old hotel with lots of charm (on the outside). The lobby falls a little flat and could use a little more character and tbh... it smelled unpleasant! The room was very nice and looked as expected as shown in the photos. The king bed was very nice and comfortable, however the pillows were not - they went flat as soon as you laid your head on them. I think an addition of a desk would go a long way. The walls are thin so I heard our very loud neighbors talking on the phone 11pm at night....

"We've stayed here many times. Sometimes in the main lodge, and a few times in cottages. The whole site is pretty nice and close (8-10 miles) to a lot of cool beach sites. The cottages are a bit rustic and might not be squeaky clean. During this stay, ours had a few light bulbs out, and a janky shower, but overall the Creekside Cottage is pretty cozy-- perhaps 20% overpriced if we're splitting hairs--it's really just a one-room cottage with two sofa beds that can be utilized in the middle of the...

"Room was clean, but bare basics. The mattress was hard as a rock. Room wasn’t even ready till after 4 o’clock to check in when their check-in time was 3:30."

"Super cool property located in town. The renovation details of the lodge is very upscale. Lots of great amenities; comfy bed; great kitchenette, cool bathroom decor. Good communication from staff and property kept very clean. Great spot to enjoy weekend getaway. Traffic can be busy during the day but everyone is very friendly on the roads to the beach."
