"We stayed 5 nights at Force Five, as part of a Lake Superior road trip. The check-in process was unnecessarily stressful. The person at the desk told us about the two options for parking, but failed to tell us we could pull up in front to unload, but instead watched us schlepp all of our luggage, making multiple trips, from the parking lot. They also failed to tell us that the Maurice Building, where we ended up parking, closes at 7:00, so the elevators and doors stop working. It was a super frustrating first night. The room was very nice, and we appreciated the kitchenette. The amenities could have been more robust, for the room price. Just some coffee in the lobby would have been nice, and given the place a warmer feel. The gym seemed pretty standard for a hotel exercise room. I also appreciated the guest laundry access on the fourth floor. Otherwise, there were no amenities, just some soda and chips behind the front desk. For the price, I wouldn’t stay there again."
