The host was very nice and gracious, very helpful and knew English well. Before I arrived they wrote to me on WhatsApp, asking when I'll arrive so they can welcome me and explain to me everything. I had trouble finding taxi and she helped me with it which was a life saver for me.

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa del Sole Siena. The terrace offers a stunning view, perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and even went above and beyond when one staff member escorted us out of the city on his motorcycle after roads were closed for upcoming celebrations. "Our stay was great, included breakfast, able to walk up, yes, lots of uphill to the Cathedral. The Campo was a bit further past the Cathedral, easy downhill walk. The host greeted us as planned, our checkin was smooth. Check out was also easy.I had trouble getting a taxi back to the train station, a communication problem. The walk was not too bad, there are escalators and moving walkways."
