B&B in Portsmouth City County

"I booked this trip to attend a concert with my daughter. In trying to confirm my reservation yesterday it was IMPOSSIBLE to get a human on the phone. After several calls we called the new reservation line and that person was not able to look at confirmed reservations???Really. Ended up staying at another hotel. Very poor customer service. At 11:30pm someone called to ask if I was still coming- NO!"

"I enjoyed a one night stay on a rainy September Saturday. The hotel was great. The building has been there for decades so it is old, but perfectly maintained, newer appliances and fixtures, immaculately clean. The room wasn't super big especially with two queen beds in, but big enough to shower sleep and chill. It's VB oceanfront so dozens of food beverage and shopping options within blocks. One block from the beach. Lots of convenience stores but only one full grocery store in the area and it's about three blocks away from this hotel so that was great. There's a small pool, barely any lobby to speak of or other common areas. Just a door to a balcony, the steps are outside as well but right next to the parking."

"I've stayed at this property before staff is always nice . I love the fact that if you're not a guest you can't access the floors where the rooms are located without a keycard."

"Lena and Nathan's service was phenomenal. I spent many years eployed at a Forbes Five Star rated property, Lena in particular was easily this level of service. I was shocked to experience customer service of this caliber here. If I return, it will be for the service in particular- I found the facilities fine but lacking in a few ways."

"The staff are some of the kindest most helpful and patient people you could ever want to meet. The rooms are roomy! Great balconies, all face the water. The rooms I've had there were always quiet with working fridge, TV, AC, etc. Very comfortable mattresses. Plenty of hot water for showers (that's a concern at a busy beach). Price/value cannot be beat. Not even with a stick!"
