"Loved staying in a home built in 1901, with the furnishings reflecting the era. Lorraine and Greg were great hosts and directed us to many sight worthy destinations. So nice to join other travelers around the delicious breakfast table."

"Spacious room and very comfortable. While outdated, it was also somewhat rustic and quaint in its own way. The rates were excellent for this time of year. Everything was safe and secure for parking, but we did not eat there. It was an hour's drive back to St. John's for a medical appointment, so a little further than we had hoped for. Still, we found it relaxing and quiet in a beautiful and peaceful setting. "

"A conveniently located motel that's clean and roomy."

"This is a well kept property with nice sized rooms, and an excellent restaurant and bar with awesome staff. Only negative is that, with the pool and slides etc. the locals come and hold birthday parties for their kids, who run wild up and won the halls. A quick word to the front desk and it went quiet! I think it is a great amenity for the locals folks as long as they keep their children in line. All in all though, excellent property."

"We only stayed one night in the Trinity suite. It was accessible from the outside also as well as the inside. It was very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. It has kind of an odd layout, but doable for one night but not for longer I feel. The breakfast at a communal table. The next morning was very nice, meeting like-minded travelers. I would recommend the Trinity suite for one night maybe two at most. However, everything was wonderful, just not a long-term lodging."

"For the same money we able to get a fully furnished apartment. It might be fine for one night though."

"I loved the toutons on the menu. My server on Friday and Saturday breakfasts was excellent and so upbeat. The long wait at the bar - perhaps hire more staff. Sunday breakfast - I called the Inn to open the doors. Server had difficulty with the coffee machine and was rattled by all the guests coming for breakfast. Definitely required more staff. I waited 23 minutes and she had only served one table - so I had to leave because I could not wait any longer as I still had to pack my suitcase...

"Great downtown location. Check-in was easy. Staff were great. Allowed us to drop bads and come back later to check-in. Great value. As there is a restaurant on site, it can be loud when in your room."

"The owner forgot our booking. When we arrived, it was closed for the season. "

"Stayed for a week. Room was spacious and hotel with close to main roads and St.John. If you get the free breakfast know that there are only three options; full breakfast, breakfast sandwich and fruit bowl (fruit, yoghurt, granola) but every time we asked for the fruit bowl they said they had no fruit. We complained to the front desk and they said they should have fruit. We then asked the next day and they were out of yoghurt. It was always something and we were there right when they opened....

"What a lovely BnB! Charming manor with beautiful decor. Our room - SS Kyle — was terrific. Spacious and cozy with a great bed and bathroom. Spotless. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast room and sitting room were just delightful. We loved when the owner’s three year old son waved goodbye to us. (By the way, we went for a wonderful walk for about an hour in the morning along the harbour and had a good dinner at “The Courthouse.”"
