"My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel. We check ratings before choosing a hotel as well as other reasons.
Our stay began well .the restaurant is very good and the breakfast Buffett was excellent.
The following morning we woke up to find that there was no water in our room.I called the front desk and was advised that water would not be restored until later in the day.no shower,no shave.
We left the hotel and returned that evening and we were advised that water had been restored.that was great as we were now able to shower and shave before retiring for the night.
We woke up in the morning to once again not have water pressure in the room.
We departed the hotel for our long transatlantic flight unable to shower and shave resulting in a very uncomfortable situation for us..
This was very disappointing for us and many other guests.
I wish the hotel would have showed greater concern over the situation we were put in."
"The stay was generally straightforward, with a few positives and some service and comfort issues.
The hotel is centrally located and convenient for getting around. It is also easily accessible by public transportation from the airport; had this been clearer in advance, we likely would not have reserved the hotel shuttle.
We arranged an airport shuttle through the front desk in advance and received confirmation. However, there was no indication that we needed to proactively contact the driver upon arrival. Our flight arrived early, and it appears the driver adjusted pickup timing based on external flight information rather than the itinerary we provided. Due to extended time in customs, we were delayed exiting the airport. By the time we reached the pickup area, the driver had already left and declined to return. The front desk noted the shuttle is operated by a third-party provider and that we were still responsible for the charge. While the front desk staff indicated they were “caught in the middle,” the interaction focused on justifying why the driver still needed to be paid rather than addressing the situation from a customer perspective.
Additionally, we requested coffee pods for the in-room machine, but they were never delivered.
One comfort issue was the street light directly outside the window, which allowed significant light into the room at night. The blackout drapes didn't fully block the light at the edges, making it difficult to sleep without an eye mask."
