"I do think we were just there for a bad weekend after a week of storms but I had higher hopes for our stay. The elevator was out, the pool was closed, and our key card would stop working on us every day. Staff was overall great and helpful. The breakfast lady seemed to be difficult with other guests, I didn’t have a problem though."

"The room wasn’t bad, but our fridge wouldn’t work. The breakfast is not a hot breakfast. You get a hot waffle or pancake that’s it. For the $ I’d never chose to stay here again. It was NOT what I thought I was paying for!"

"This was our third time staying here. The first two times were as a couple and we loved our rooms. They were clean, spacious and comfortable. This time we went as a family and got the suite. It was definitely not the cleanest. The night stand and around the phone had an entire layer of dust. The bathroom floor and shower could have been cleaner. There was stuff on the walls and curtains. The pool area could have been cleaner. Other than that it was a comfortable stay and staff were polite."

"This is a ONE STAR hotel, it is absolute TRASH. Do NOT let the overall score fool you. Look at the RECENT scores. In fact I would give this place negative stars if I could, and I generally never say that. We arrived and it was immediately noticeable that the service was less than desirable. "The staff was friendly and professional. The problem was the room. There were multiple hairs on the beds and in the bathroom. The sink drained slowly so we had to keep the water at no more than maybe 30% to prevent it from pooling in the sink. The shower was worse! The drain was sooo slow that even trying to warm up the shower it was like I was starting a bath. It was late when I tried to shower so I knew the front desk was not going to be able to do anything. "Property is a bit secluded in a wooded area. Very nicely appointed rustic vibe. Restaurant on premises is quaint and food is extraordinary for such a small boutique hotel. Complements to chef and wait staff."

"Our room floor was soaked. The bathroom fan was missing in the cabinet. The shower ceiling had water damage and a huge hole that needed to be patched. The air ran and because the floor wax so wet it was like sleeping in a steam room. For the price. Very disappointed. Put in a room the apparently wasn’t finished being fixed."

"The rest room was a hard flush toilet. If you didnt hold the handle down for super long time it would not flush completely which left a mess We were there during storm outages so there was no internet the entire time and the TV for part of the time. There were no discounts for lack of amenities"

"The TV froze a lot. Couldn't really watch much of anything. The first night the hot tub was lukewarm. They did just have a major power outage in the city, so that could be why. The 2nd night was a lot better. Hot tub was hotter, but didn't stay consistently hot and the steam room and sauna didn't work."
