"Room was very clean. Staff were lovely I had a great oceanview from 2nd floor room. Stairs a little steep but otherwise highly recommend as an affordable place to stay with your pet"

"If we could give the front staff 10 stars we would. They were kind and had such a great sense of humour. We heard the staff deal with unbelievable rude and entitled “guests” with grace and much patience than I ever could have. Rooms were clean and quiet. "

"This place is a gem. Authentic period decor, very quiet; we needed two beds and got two bedrooms- very homey. Brewpub and restaurants across the street. Cafe with eggs Benny included in the price. It’s a few km from the new part of town, with all the shops and restaurants but that didn’t affect us. I’d seek this place out if ever in PR again. "

"We really enjoyed our time at the motel. We had a family room at the top of the complex. Although older, the room was comfortable and well suited to a family with two teenagers. The thing that really made the stay memorable was the amazing view over the water. "

"The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom looks recently renovated. It’s close to Townsite Brewing which had some of the best beer I have tried in a very long time! Close to food as well! Definitely recommend! "

"The hotel has great character but no breakfast available due to location (can't get the staff). Feels like there are many empty rooms. Some areas blocked off. If you like heritage sites and genuine antique fixtures and fittings, you'll enjoy this hotel. I don't think it is haunted!"
