"Es war bereits unser dritter Aufenthalt im John Yanceys. Wir waren zu jederzeit sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war wieder sehr schön, wie beschrieben und auch sehr sauber. Wir nehmen housekeeping eher seltener in Anspruch, konnten aber zu jederzeit Handtücher austauschen und neuen Kaffee erhalten. "Grandkids loved the pool, scavenger hunt, and feeding the turtles (apples). The accommodations were very nice, although the kitchen essentials were sparce. no lids for pans, small oven sheet pan, etc. "

"Great beach access for the money! Wright Bros. Monument is 2 blocks away but not walkable-- the highway can't be safely crossed on foot. Also, a car is necessary to get to restaurants and other places of interest, though they are near enough. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!"
"We Love the Seahorse Cottage!! This was our second visit to OBX and our second stay here. We had the same cottage as last year and it was great! It has everything you need and is very comfortable. The staff are friendly & helpful. Walking distance to the pier & beach , Cahoons market, restaurants, etc. Thank you again Seahorse staff! "

We stayed for a week and the card in the room said we would get room service halfway through our stay if we wanted it. We put the card out to service the room but they didn’t do it. "We had a great sunset view from our quiet, comfortable room--with great coffee and tea service, mini fridge, nice shower. Easy walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella waiting...even at 7am! Good restaurants close by and Spa across the street. Great karma, decor, and staff! We will be back. "

"This is a great place to stay that puts you basically right on the beach. It is close to many of the shopping areas and restaurants. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend!"
