"Beach front property with plenty of places to rinse off. Heated pool. There is an outdoor and a second indoor pool. There is hot tub area by the indoor pool section. The hotel restaurant was a good value for the meal options. The room was clean with plenty of towels. There are towels available for use at the pool area."
"The cabin was a perfect place to go to sleep after staying out all day on the beach. Close to Fat Boys for ice cream and some of our favorite restaurants. Although advertised as “soundproof walls” our experience was otherwise, could definitely hear our neighbors very clearly through the walls. No complaints, would stay there again with my wife on another long weekend on the Outer Banks!!"

"We would definitely stay here again, it was clean, nice decor, our view of the ocean was the best, and breakfast was great. Didn't give it a 5 because main elevator areas could have been cleaner and the glass door on our floor was dirty, but that's not a big deal. Oh, the beds were very comfortable! "
"Overall the property is nice and close to the beach but not on the beach. Just a short walk through Hurricane Moe’s parking lot.

"We loved our stay at the Blue Heron Motel. Right on the beach, close to everything that you would need. It is not a new, fancy hotel (which is what we wanted). It was clean and larger than expected. The only thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the window in case guests wanted to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!"
