"I have traveled to Bologna on quite a few occasions over the past 40 years....and this is the one place I can't imagine not staying at next time I visit. Historic building, beautiful views, lovely accommodations, wonderfully located, delicious breakfast - and most of all, a truly special host. One caveat, there are stairs (though the owner will take care of baggage), so if you are mobility restricted, you would need to take that into consideration."

"This lovely hotel is located in the historic area of Bologna, making it easy to walk to all the sites you want to see as well as wonderful restaurants. The staff is so helpful with dining recommendations. The breakfasts are delicious, with yummy hot options as well as buffet items. "The apartment was perfect for our first night in Bologna. Checking in in the late evening wasn't a problem, and our host was super responsive to text. We never met anyone in person, but it was fine because we received quick and detailed responses to any questions we had. We enjoyed breakfast from the bakery downstairs, and would have eaten it on the balcony if we had come during a warmer part of the year. "
