"This is an exceptional place, full of character. Thoughtfully appointed, immaculately clean and very quiet and comfortable. Carlo, the proprietor, was wonderful---friendly, very helpful and lots of fun to talk to . He even lugged our bags up to the apartment, which is on the top floor with a terrace and great view. If you want to talk to a "real" Italian, this is the place for you! One word of warning: the Palazzo dates from the 15th century and has no lift , so the stairs are not for the...

"We had a wonderful stay! The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful wherever we had questions or needed something. Arranging transportation to and from the train station was also taken care of as well as dinner reservations at a wonderful restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"We love our stay at Hotel Brun. It is centrally located but in a quiet area. The staff are polite and helpful. The property is new and clean. They also provide complimentary items in their fridge which are replaced daily. I just hope that the house keeper that cleans the rooms will be more thorough. Like there were days when we came back to our room that used cups and drinking glasses were not replaced with new ones. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely came back."

"Couldnt fault the hotel. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and location couldnt have been better. However, being in the centre of the city the noise outside the hotel on Friday and Saturday night went on until about 3.30 which made it impossible to sleep. Great the other two nights though."

"A 15 walk to train station on some pretty rough sidewalks, room was a noisy street, but lovely. I wanted to just turn the fan on to reduce noise and increase air circulation, but HVAC system was not functioning. Staff was friendly but limited hours."

"In a student arty area just on the edge of h th e historic area. Perfect for us to explore the centre by day and have some craft ales within a few minutes walk at night. There are bars right below the studio apartment but doubles glazed windows mean only a bit of noise even on a busy night. It might not suit everyone but we loved it "

"Rooms had tea but no coffee, which I thought was weird and petty. I just didn't get it -- does a packet of instant coffee cost that much more than a tea bag? Also: the breakfast was supposed to be available until 10:30 a.m., but most of the trays were empty by 10."
