Where to begin? My room smelled of stale urine, and carpet always felt kind of wet and sticky. I requested a room change, nothing happened. I believe they were dealing with an overwhelming amount of evacuees at the time due to nearby fires, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
That said they did nothing to alleviate my concerns. I told them the room had an awful stench, the guy at the desk offered me a bottle of cleaner.
I made it three nights but left a night early because it felt unsafe. The last night there an I roxicated woman drive through the front of the hotel, and a fight ensued between another guest and the driver.
Every night I was on edge with people screaming up and down the halls. I wanted to keep the patio door open to air out the stench, but often couldn't because there were guests outside drinking, using, and arguing, which made it intolerable.
But hey, free breakfast!
