"Thank you for a wonderful stay! The positives are: Being able to walk around the grounds that were so beautiful. Something for everyone from youngsters to oldsters. Several places for people to gather and visit on the property. The only downside (I am short) the only mirror in our room was over the bathroom sink, which was too high for me. "The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot."

"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"This was a very nice room, and we would stay again. The bed was comfortable, and there was room to relax. The only complaint was that there were people, probably children, running around above us until late into the night. If we stayed again, I would request a room on the third (top) floor."
