One of the best places we've stayed at in our 7 trips together to Hawaii. We always stay in Princeville when in Kauai, but this will be our new go-to place now.

4 of us stayed in a 1-bedroom condo and it was perfect! The area was quiet and the room was huge! Would definitely recommend staying at the Makai Club.

Very good overall although the dish washer and wash machine were very loud. The pool is very small and too cold to use in February. The units have louvers not windows so a/c is not needed/availble. The location was very good and the cottage we stayed in provided some privacy.

Good value in Princeville
The 2-bedroom unit we stayed in was very clean and well-maintained. The resort staff were very helpful and friendly. There is no a/c, and the windows have movable blinds that aren’t all in perfect condition. What this means is that the temperature in the unit is close to the outside temperature. Fans are installed in case it gets too hot. You can also hear the roosters crowing loudly in the middle of the night, the blinds are not soundproof. We had a parking problem one night when all available spots outside our cottage section were occupied, but it was resolved the next day. I parked in an adjacent lot and walked back. Overall a great location in Princeville and good value for the money.

The staff was unfailingly kind and helpful. The room was well laid out and ergonomically suitable for my purposes. The only downside was the crowing roosters at dawn, which is apparently universal on Kauai.

Very nice villa
Very nice, large, new villa. No aircondition, but the villa is designed with lots of ventilation, so aircon is not needed. I would stay again.

I loved staying at this resort. My only complaint wouls be that they do not have AC so during the day it gets pretty miserable, i had to go buy a new fan. The grounds are so quiet and you can hear everything around you if peoplearetalking loudly or any other noise nearby. Loud roosters will wake you up lol. I had to have a white noise sound machine for my baby on and they told me to turn it down.. when ended in my baby crying half the night which was more of a disturbance then a white noise.machine. thoight it was pretty ridiculous a white noise machine was being complained about. If anything im helping other sleep and drown out the roosters ans loud people outside? But aside from all of that this property is beautiful, pool is great, wish they gave you some kitchen amenities (literally no spices,cooking oil.. nothing at all, not even salt) parking is easy and free, foodland is 4 min away, great location near many beaches. Overall i would recommend this place ans stay here again.

The best part of our stay was coming into the property. We arrived late in the evening. Driving in pouring rain and having I difficulty in finding the property. I called the resort and Juan stayed on the phone with me and stood out front until I arrived to ensure my wife and I arrived safely. His professionalism and customer care were absolutely outstanding. My wife and I look forward to future stays at the resort.

The lay out and space of the condo was wonderful. Very spacious. Condo kitchen was filled with equipment and dishes if you wanted to cook. Beds were comfortable. Makai club supplied beach chairs, umbrellas, and ice. Staff was very friendly. Good Location. Disappointed with the pool, and no meal options.

It's a lovely property settled in nice lush surroundings, not too far from the ocean views, local beaches, local shops and eateries. The guests at the next door condo were a bit noisy and inconsiderate, otherwise a great location and good value for money in Princeville.

Every time I go to Kauai I stay at the Makai Club Resort. The staff is amazing, the property is clean and safe, and most importantly, the units are well equipped and big enough for a family.

The golf course was amazing! Resort is definitely old and outdated including furniture, carpet, flooring, etc. One bedroom did not have doors to the bathroom, toilet and shower. I find that really odd, that I have to sit in the toilet and there is no door to shut. I am a very private, and that was really frustrating. The other bedroom did not have a door at all and it was next to the living area. Again, no privacy. Windows in the bathroom are exposed to the parking lot. The bathroom sink faucet were very hard to turn on and off. The tub shower was very stained. I wish I can attach a picture. I brought one of my white towels from home and took a picture of it next to their towel. Their towel was supposed to be while but it almost looked brown. I

Staff is very nice professional but yet laid-back I would definitely come back here again it’s very convenient to have kitchen and a separate bedroom. Nice place to go on walks on walk jog path safe place go and exercise or just walk to the shopping center and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place for families.

Die Unterkunft war mit allem, was benötigt wird ausgestattet. Sehr sauber, die Angestellten sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Stühle, Schirme usw. für einen Strandbesuch sind ausleihbar. Anlage ist sehr ruhig. Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wohnung entsprach der Beschreibung bei Expedia.

The place was perfect for our family of 5. We’ve stayed many times in Princeville and loved the staff. They were very helpful with checking out bikes and movies, etc. Walking distance to Foodland and Hideaways👍 Would definitely come back again

Good price but had some real issues. Bathroom water damage was a big concern. Mold presence on shower ceiling and mold/mildew issue under the bathroom sink. Also got terrible mosquito bites while sitting on patio that faces jungle like forest area.
