"Like the cleanness of the room. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. The only thing the hotel needs an elevator and some Ottoman or benches in the room to put your suitcases on. Had to put it on the floor. Overall it was good. In the future will give the other location a try."

"I just had an amazing stay at the Guyana Marriott. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food was amazing. I loved the mix of traditional Guyanese breakfast with more traditional American fare. Loved the options. Also enjoyed the Guyanese night dinner buffet. I enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres and painting night activity. That was a lot of fun. They have a great pool and a gym. Overall just an amazing vacation in Guyana."

"This hotel can do better when paying at the hotel site. I booked on Expedia and quoted USD hence there is no reason that upon presenting my US credit card I am told there is a fee for using this card. The preferred option from the hotel point of view is to pay in local dollars. I didn’t have local dollars so I used a Guyana debit card which carried less fees."

"I recently stayed at the Royal International Hotel in Georgetown. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there were several issues that future guests should be aware of. The hotel itself is modern and is attached to a mall with restaurants, shops, a casino, and a gym, which is very convenient. Most of the staff I encountered were polite and tried to be helpful. However, communication was often difficult because many staff members spoke little or no English. This included some front-line...

"The property management team is polite and accommodating. Due to last minute changes in my trip, they were more than willing to accommodate my reservation alterations with no questions asked. I will DEFINITELY continue to use them as my primary hotel when traveling to Guyana for business."

"the room was very clean, bathroom nicely tiled, and was spacious - hot water to shower was abundant. Parking was good and the owner allowed me to park on the hotel's front driveway. Very close to banks. GRA is one straight drive on camp street. I didn't like the breakfast - only took the breakfast one day - the other days I ate out (not a problem for me)"
