"Great place to stay. Comfortable, clean, nice grounds with lots of walking paths. Very safe and there is a restaurant on the property, pool, gym and other great amenities. Excellent stay. My only word of advice is to make sure you have your reservation details ready when you arrive at the security gate. This is a gated community. We were given the apartment keys at the security gate. It wasn’t clear in the instructions after booking. But don’t let that stop you. We plan on staying here again. "

"I really enjoyed my stay. It was 6 minutes walk to the beach where I found some beautiful agates! There was a store close by that had everything needed. The host was amazing. He let me use the washing machine as needed and even drove me to the grocery store. I could tell that he wanted me to have a good stay. The pool was really nice as well. I will definitely stay there again some day, as the price was great. Cheaper than a hotel, and it is definitely a nice area. Indrive (the local Uber app) was 10$ from Panama City. "

"The pool is cute, but I didn’t use it. The cleaning and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful, the front desk staff not so much. Indifferent at best, not particularly friendly or welcoming. One thing I like about this place is that there’s a washer and dryer. But bring quarters and your own detergent. The desk staff have no change and make little effort to help, except to call the restaurant to see if they have change. I keep coming back here because it’s quiet, clean, and in a beautiful natural setting while still very close to the city and the airport. For birdwatchers, there’s excellent birding just behind the inn at the swamp (St Mary’s Catchment). These things, plus the affordable price keep me coming back despite the less than friendly welcome.
