"We had a lovely time at Ostuni a Mare. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The hotel is medium-sized with a lovely pool and bar area with a separate lagoon style pool. There was a cute train to the beach & beach restaurant.
Although the hotel is right by the main highway this wasn’t audible from our room or the communal areas and provides superb access to local towns with Ostuni being approx 15 minutes away by car.
For couples travelling, as we were, it is family-friendly so there were a reasonable number of children at dinner times but we tended to go later for dinner which was generally quieter. We felt very welcomed at all times as a gay couple.
We also played Padel on the onsite court where rackets and balls were provided. We also had a very relaxing massage.
The room was lovely & clean with a nice balcony but a little dated in terms of fixtures and fittings with poor WiFi signal and a dated TV that we couldn’t stream too (not that you come to Puglia to watch TV!) It would have also been useful to have plug sockets either side of the bed & coffee facilities in the non-suite rooms but these minor issues didn’t detract from an overall superb experience.
