"Our stay at Ayung Resort was one of the highlights of our Southeast Asia trip. We stayed at around seven different properties, and this was easily our favorite. The villa exceeded our expectations and looked exactly like the photos—no misleading editing like we experienced at some other places in Bali. The beautiful hand-carved wooden details throughout the room gave it an authentic Balinese feel while still feeling truly luxurious. The location was perfect. Instead of staying in the busy, crowded Ubud Palace area, we were surrounded by lush forest with the soothing sound of the Ayung River. Waking up to monkeys peacefully going about their morning in the trees was a memorable experience. The resort grounds are large, beautifully landscaped, and impeccably maintained. Housekeeping was outstanding—the room was spotless every day, and water, toiletries, towels, and everything else were replenished without us ever needing to ask. The buggy service was always quick, and every staff member we met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. We also had the seafood dinner one evening, and it was one of the best meals of our trip. Breakfast was good, although after several mornings the selection became a little repetitive. Overall, this is what true luxury feels like: beautiful surroundings, authentic Balinese craftsmanship, exceptional service, and attention to every detail. Every dollar felt well spent, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for any"

"We can’t say enough good things about this property! We stayed in the poolside rooms and then returned to stay out last night in Bali here. We loved the pool and location to the beach, wonderful staff (esp Annie and Adu!) and the rooms were light, bright and clean. Lots of nice touches abd beautiful gardens. Breakfast was good and changed every day. A short walk to the beach and Potato Head Club just 15 mins walk. We also had facials and massage in the Spa. A little more expensive than in town, but a much nicer experience. We will absolutely be back!! Thank you Solterra :-)"

"My stay at Desa Potato Head in Bali was exceptional from start to finish. The service was outstanding—every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The room was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was one of the softest and most comfortable I've ever slept in, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Bali. The food was fantastic throughout the resort, with every meal exceeding my expectations. One of the highlights was spending time on the rooftop, where the sunset views and overall atmosphere created the perfect Bali vibe. The pool area was another standout. The water was comfortable, the space was well maintained, and even during my visit it was easy to find a great place to sit and unwind without feeling crowded. Overall, Desa Potato Head delivered an incredible experience with amazing hospitality, excellent food, beautiful facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere.
