"Nice Staff"

"The staff was wonderful and everything was very clean. However, if you are looking for a soft sandy beach you won’t get that by this resort. Entry into the water was rocky and sand by the beach chairs was full of debris."

"Our visit to Vistalmar Ocean Suites exceeded our high expectations. The property is in a great location to easily access the entirety of Aruba by car. Our condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved the views from our balcony and from the private dock near the bay--both spots are great for relaxing with a book or beverage, and taking in the sunset. We will 100% stay at Vistalmar when we return to Aruba. As a side note, some reviewers complain about the pet dogs on the property. If you don't like dogs, I don't recommend visiting Aruba--there are friendly stray dogs on all of the beaches and in many of the neighborhoods. The three dogs owned by the proprietors are sweet and well-behaved. If you don't want them around you, gently shoo them away and they will gladly leave you alone. Or you can be like us and welcome their pleasant company while relaxing on your deck or by the pool. "

"We had an amazing room overlooking the pool. It was all brand new and beautiful, cleaned everyday and fresh towels. We did speak to another guest who didn’t have an updated room so they’re not all as nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. The downside is that the restaurants can’t accommodate the number of guests and we had to eat at the buffet a couple of nights. Loved the proximity of the beach but there’s definitely not enough palapas, and people saved them very early in the morning which doesn’t seem fair."
