"Overall my stay was OK. Upon arrival I was not able to check in on time because my room was not available due to hotel being reserved to capacity, which caused me to have a 1 hr delay in check in. The hotel receptionist (Urania)was somewhat pleasant however, made some remarks that my particular room wasn’t ready because I had to wait for a handicap room, I stated I did not book a handicap room. "The staff was great, nice and friendly. The room had some bugs moving on the floor, and the walls by the sink needed to be cleaned. I found a clear cover of a razor blade on the tub sill, and it looked like mold in the higher areas of the tub."

"The staff allowed us to drop our luggage off before check-in so we could go off to do other things and that was nice. The mattress was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Otherwise it was an unpleasant experience. The room was dark and dingy. The furnishings were worn out…the easy chair had stained fabric, the bed sheet had a hole in it, and the handle on the folding door to the bath was missing. "This is a no frills, basic hotel room. Expedia has it listed as pet friendly, but it is not. Went up to the first room assigned to me and it was still occupied. Was given a second room and that one was not clean. Third room was acceptable. Inexpensive rates made this stay adequate. As a solo traveler who was only in the room to sleep, it met my basic need of a room."

"First of all, after a 5 hour drive with two toddlers in bad weather, the room we got was NOT what we booked. I booked a suite with a pullout sofa bed. There were two double beds. I had to make a bed for my grandsons on the floor. I was told there were none of those rooms available (even though that’s what I paid for). "The Williamsburg Inn is absolutely FANTASTIC! Tim and Leslie helped us with smooth check-in! They were just so nice and helpful!!! We were surrounded by beautiful decor/antiques! Rides were complimentary to dinner/stores (Howard was amazing)! The incredible maids cleaned up our room and provided chocolates and slippers! Tim even text me to see how things were going!!! We celebrated our 31st Anniversary at this incredible Inn and loved the beautiful grounds and service! We will tell...

"We routinely stay at this specific hotel when we visit Williamsburg. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and it’s a quiet hotel even when it’s full. It is also at a very convenient location for Busch Gardens and the Outlet mall. The only thing that I ca. mention is that the breakfast is an additional charge and is essentially the same breakfast that is free elsewhere. That’s a drawback. We will be regular customers due to the staff and the upkeep of the hotel!"
