"We booked the Kondari Hotel at the last minute to stay the night on our way driving down to Brisbane from Airlie Beach. We had been driving for around nine hours so we’re so relieved to be able to check into somewhere for the night. "Absolutely perfect hotel for our road trip from Cairns! We received a warm welcome from staff, and were offered a free room upgrade. The room was spacious and clean, and perfectly situated near downtown Port Douglas where we walked to all our meals and the beach!"

"What an amazing location! The beach is stunning and the wildlife is incredible. Sunsets were something special! Very close to Brisbane and easy to get to. Very comfortable rooms with great views. Lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. Not a huge range of dining options on Mondays and Tuesdays but we were only staying a couple of nights so that was ok. Please buy some new tennis racquets and balls!"
