"We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! "

"Lovely quiet location just outside of busy Sarlat owned by a welcoming couple. Access to the yard, the deck, and a kitchen area for guests is all lovely! Quick drive into the old ville for restaurants etc but nice to retreat to the quiet surroundings of La Bayardine. Wonderful breakfast on the terrasse!"

"Incroyable endroit. Magnifique maison, tout est décoré avec goût dans les moindres détails. On peut profiter de l’extérieur, piscine , terrasse , ping pong et cabane suspendue dans les arbres … Magnifique petit déjeuner . Nous n’y avons passé qu’une nuit mais j’aurai aimé y rester. Parfait emplacement pour être tôt sur le site de Lascaux et plein de restaurants à quelques minutes en voiture. Vraiment un endroit où j’aimerais revenir "

"Great location and well appointed rooms overlooking the lovely pool. Well equipped and scrupulously clean. The hosts, Gladis and Ian were attentive and welcoming. The buffet style offer at breakfast is served individually and was fresh and a great set up for exploring the Dordogne. "The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....
