"I have travelled the World extensively, and this property is possibly my favourite of any I have stayed in. It maintains old world colonial character and charm, with its very high standards, excellent staff, and wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We stayed 8 years ago and have been planning g a return since. We are however devastated to hear that the hotel will close at the end of its current lease in August 2027, so this was likely to be our last ever visit."

"Its a sound enough hotel for the business traveler but otherwise pretty ordinary. It's in a shabby part of town with no local ameities or attractions worth the bother. The bar is dismal and the restaurant poor. The staff do a good job of making the best of the little they have to wotk with."

"Nice clean hotel close to shopping and restaurants. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Always willing to assist.
If there is a negative experience, it would be the aggressive tuck tuck drivers that wait outside. Do not be scammed in getting them to take you anywhere without a confirmed price beforehand.
They also make excuses that they need to stop at tea shops, jewelry places, or some massage place, all friends. Stand firm and say NO. Use Uber for safety."
