"A great gem of a hotel, this was our first visit and will return soon. The staff were really friendly and seemed happy to be there. "The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes "

"It was very scottish tradional posh house hotel. Staff were very polite and helpful. We loved the Laird & Soapies bar, and was given a very warm Nigerian welcome, lifting the atmosphere, and entrraining the guests."

"Nice stay. Hotel was busy so nice atmosphere at dinner and breakfast. All staff very approachable and helpful. Some works being done to upgrade the pool and spa facilities affected the make changing area."

"The stay at the park in was ok. The curtains in the room were insufficient. With daylight at 4am, the whole room was lit up and made it hard to sleep. I was going to bring up this issue at check out, but was not even asked how my stay was. See attached photos at 4am."

"When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "
