Villa had all you could want, ingenious design . Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help in any way - good tourist info , and the restaurant was excellent. Trying very hard to make this new venture a success- they deserve it! Location great for the long sandy beach and wave watching.

Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. It was a lovely place to stay with stunning views and very welcoming staff.

Clean, kitchen had everything that was needed. Sea views. Staff so helpful, above and beyond what was expected. Use of hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, turkish steam room and gym. Even a playroom for kids. Only issue was that the laundry was really expensive. A washing machine available to guests would have been useful even with a charge.

Great spa and gym. Very clean

Beautiful new house with spacious comfortable bedrooms and lovely communal kitchen and living areas. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked inviting. Would recommend taking own food to cook as it is a long walk down to the town and very limited cafe options

We really enjoyed our 10 night stay at Pedras do Mar resort. Great facilities and some really nice staff. Beautiful location and only 15 mins by car to Ponta Delgada. If you want to be able to walk around a town and choose from bars/restaurants every evening this is not the resort for you, although having said that, a taxi is only 15 euros in to Ponta Delgada where there is plenty to choose from.
