"The ambiance of the old building was unique. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The grounds were mostly clean and well kept. There were some areas that needed attention or were worn. Our room was very clean and well kept. All in all it was a nice stay. Nothing special. But adequate."

"The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. Staff very helpful inviting and courteous. Breakfast and restaurant are very good exceptional service. The shuttle for downtown is extremely valuable and convenient. That alone saves a lot. I would recommend the DoubleTree anytime to anyone looking to have luxury and value."

"Could use some cleaning, updates, and friendlier staff at the front desk. The beach was full of sargassum and trash that floated on shore, and smelled horrible. We don't normally leave reviews, but this one was definitely a dissapointment, all around."
