"Very relaxed stay. Short walk from station or book a taxi for a small fee if you have luggage. Ruriko-in temple and Mt Hiei cable car station is very close with lots of hiking and walking trails. Dinner was very nice and staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Koichi and all staff for making our stay an enjoyable one."

"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

We had a couples massage that felt like it shaved ten years off both therapists were fantastic. The thermal pool was beautiful and impeccably clean, making it the perfect place to relax. "You have train station close by, so it makes it very easy to get around. You also have bus stops not far from each other, and the wait time usually isn’t very long. The staff are very polite, and answer any questions you have. The room itself was slightly small, but big enough if you’re a solo traveller. I very much enjoyed my stay. "
