"This property was super clean and the staff was super nice! A great safe location as well only 9 minutes from Del Mar beaches and 16 minutes from la jolla! The only reason it is a 4 star rating is the $28 a night parking. When I originally booked the details said "free parking" upon arrival we were astonished that there was a $28 a night parking fee. I would understand if the hotel was in a busy area but it is not. It is in a low traffic corporate area and they have their own big dedicated parking lot. To me it is clear that the property manager is being greedy and attempting to make money. "

"Room was clean and quiet. There were people in each room beside me and I never heard them. Breakfast was good, just super busy. It was 20 minutes away from downtown, zoo/Balboa Park, and close to Miramar Base. For the price, I have no complaints. "

"Location is great and very accessible to major roads; the room is spacious; wide range of TV selection; lounge is cozy; dining area is neat and quiet. "

"The staff were so nice, the rooms were so comfortable and clean. In fact, we got the room dirty by accident, and we asked them for room service (free of charge by the way) they did it and it looked somehow BETTER then when we got in. The buffet breakfast made me absolutely speechless. There were scrambled eggs, sausages, muffins, bread, waffles, and apple and orange juice (the orange juice tasted really diluted and didn’t taste that well, but the apple juice was so good. The wifi was somewhat slow and kind of useless sometimes. There was an outdoor pool and a washer and dryer. ($2/load; bring quarters) They do have money exchange for quarters if you need it. "

"Checkin was horrible edward was not polite rude but friendly unsympathetic and very inexperienced kept laughing at me and 1st wanted to charge adtl prices wouldn't give me a receipt and didnt even know the layouts of the property Aubree the other employee was awesome, she printed a receipt. No problem then when i called down for a adtl. Blanket and pillow he said he would get to it never came i called back front desk and Aubree said he had gone home and never mentioned it but she.was able to bring it to me right away Room was disgusting ripped couches smelling dirty mold in shower and rusted shower head Even the toilet was disgusting couldn't sit on toilet water hit my balls and so i couldn't pee or poop in it only (1) blanket in the entire room for 3 guests just old and musty but a big thank you to the manager Edger And a shout out to Aubree for making the stay better "

"The hotel seemed clean and a little outdated. which I guess is normal. My concern was the front desk staff who fail to communicate that we would be paying for parking. I'm not happy with the lack of communication."
