"Off the beaten path. Quiet and restful. The tiny home was well equipped for our two day stay, kitchenette, travel info, basic necessities such coffee. I highly recommend the Puffin for those travelers seeking tranquility."

Its super close to big attractions like skogafoss and Dyrholaey Beach. There is a restaurant right across the street that is incredibly convenient. "Be warned: you CANNOT get to this hotel with your own vehicle! You're required to buy a separate bus ticket in order to get to the hotel. We weren't told until a couple weeks before our stay that a bus was required to reach the property. We were stunned to find that bus tickets for our family of four were almost TWICE as expensive as the $285 room we booked for a single night. The property's website told us we would be reimbursed only 80% of the cost. We were a little disappointed, but were...

"Checking in was a nightmare. They tell you to call a number but no one answers. So many guests were waiting in the parking lot, while we were there. We waited for an hour to get in. Once in, the room smelled musty. The radiator wasn't hooked up or capped. We turned it on by accident and water poured out onto the electric radiator right next to it. Then the hair dryed was on the floor behind the toilet. Besides being gross, another fire hazard."
