"Absolutely wonderful stay here - a lovely place with wonderful staff. Bathrooms are shared but there are a sufficient quantity to handle the demand. There was a restaurant that serves excellent food and a nice lounge where we had drinks. Room was lovely and clean. There was a nice continental breakfast."

"This property was excellent, clean, quiet, beautiful location and ideal for us to explore the south coast. The hosts were very responsive. Beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra touches of having cooking oil, two different options for coffee, extra towels, salt and pepper and shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. Highly recommend and if ever back to beautiful Iceland this is where we will stay. Thanks again for having us."

"This place is beautiful. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and it was stocked with everything you'd need to make breakfast or dinner. They used no scents so they were very allergy friendly. The family who owned the property were very friendly as well. We were even able to do laundry there for an extra fee! The property was beautiful, ocean out the windows with a waterfall in the back. Would highly recommend this place!"

"I stayed in a new building which was very nice. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Nice desk to sit and plan my travels. Breakfast was wonderful. Only downside was the thin walls. I could hear my neighbor cough, sneeze, hang their coat on the hanger."

"Overpriced for what it is"

"This was a favorite stay during our travels in Iceland. The location was so pretty and quiet, the rooms and common spaces were clean, and Unnur provided a lot of useful travelling tips and local knowledge. There were games available in the common area, and free breakfast waffles in the morning. The hosts were very friendly. I only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Be warned: you CANNOT get to this hotel with your own vehicle! You're required to buy a separate bus ticket in order to get to the hotel. We weren't told until a couple weeks before our stay that a bus was required to reach the property. We were stunned to find that bus tickets for our family of four were almost TWICE as expensive as the $285 room we booked for a single night. The property's website told us we would be reimbursed only 80% of the cost. We were a little disappointed, but were...

"There were 3 of us in a room. The room was neat and clean. My back was bothering me so I went in the hot tub which was surprisingly very warm. Perfect! The property is beautiful with a stream and bridge nearby. The employees were all very nice. Would high recommend!"

"OMG!!! Highly highly recommend this experience. We went and feed horses. They do not come up to your personal cabin, but you can go and pet/feed them snacks inside of fence, we brought apples, cut them in pieces and horses seem to enjoy it. And toiletries in shower, omg!! That was some luxury experience."
