"This is a wonderful gem! The old character was just what I hoped for and more! The grounds were relaxing, especially the orchard. The history book in the room was fun to read. Home cooked breakfast was top notch and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and at home, I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Bayeux again!"

"This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing."

I just wish they would offer REAL coffee (at a reasonable cost) and not those machines. The machine coffees are not good at all. GREAT water view from our room. "A truly wonderful hotel, in walking distance of the centre of Arromanches. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room and hotel amenities were all well presented. The swimming pool is lovely, as in the garden setting area. Breakfast was a beautiful cold selection of local and home made products, as well as hot scrambled eggs and bacon. We would definitely visit again."
